It's a classic. Fresh pecans are slow-roasted in maple syrup with a touch of sea salt, then surrounded by soft Knob Creek Bourbon caramel. Each cluster is coated in 61% dark chocolate and finished with a sprinkle of fleur de sel.
The result is a layered bite — nutty, buttery, not-too-sweet — with just enough bourbon warmth and dark chocolate richness.

These were one of my favourites along with Bourbon caramels from EH.
Happy to have the opportunity to enjoy some of these again.
A real treat! But way too expensive and a little too sweet for us to get again.
How can you take a pecan turtle and make it BETTER? The pecans were light, crunchy, perfectly toasted, the caramel tasted distinctly of bourbon - but not in an overwhelming or cloying way. You can't get these flavors and textures from just anywhere. I am overwhelmed - just like I was by EH Chocolatier.
