Introducing Temper Confections, a playful, small-batch approach to sweets. Think of it as EHChocolatier’s free-spirited cousin, where we create candy, chocolates, caramels, cookies, and more, inspired by the moment. Some treats will be brand new, while others will be nostalgic favorites.
With a focus on less packaging, a more relaxed pace, and local pickup, Temper Confections is all about simple, delicious joy. No social media, no big production—just thoughtfully made confections, shared with those who truly love them. Each batch is small and limited, here for a short time before something new takes its place-so enjoy them while they last!
How Temper Works
- Online Only: Temper Confections is an online store—there’s no physical shop.
- Order Window: Place your order between Sunday (when the newsletter drops) and Tuesday evening.
- Pick-Up Schedule: Orders will be ready for pick-up from Thursday to Sunday of the same week. Orders not pick up by Sunday afternoon will be donated.
- Pick-Up Location: Local pick-up only at Albertine Press in Cambridge. Store hours: Thursday-Saturday (11am-7pm); Sunday (11am-4pm)
- Parking Tips: Metered and resident parking is available nearby, and if you're making a quick stop, there are “loading zone” spots just past the USPS post office on Cambridge St. and right around the corner on Oak St. The closest parking lot is on Springfield St.
- Public transportation: MBTA Bus Routes going to Inman Square. All options HERE.
- No Shipping (Yet): Shipping isn’t available at this time, but it may be an option in the future.
- Small Batch, One-Woman Team: Elaine runs the show solo, which limits how much product can be made—so please be kind!
- Purchase Limits: Limits on quantities may apply, depending on product availability, to ensure more people get a chance to enjoy the treats.
- First Come, First Serve: It’s a first come, first serve experience—apologies in advance if you miss out this time!
- Bi-Weekly Drops: The goal is to offer bi-weekly drops with a newsletter arriving on Sunday morning.
- Avoid Missing Out: Sign up for the newsletter, and make sure to add nomnomnom@temperconfections.com to your Contacts List to ensure our emails are allowed in your mailbox.

Really, the Platonic ideal of a cookie.
I was saddened when EH Chocolotier closed for many reasons, but the biggest was missing out on these amazing delicacies! I savored every last bite of my final one, trying to enjoy it rather than mourn the loss of them. When they became available again through Temper Chocolates, I immediately bought some. They are not to be missed!
These were very impressive. Not too sweet and with a very nice punch of earl grey goodness! I hope these are offered again soon!
Everything from here is absolutely amazing, you simply can't go wrong. I never thought I would even like tea flavored caramel but these are divine.

How can you take a pecan turtle and make it BETTER? The pecans were light, crunchy, perfectly toasted, the caramel tasted distinctly of bourbon - but not in an overwhelming or cloying way. You can't get these flavors and textures from just anywhere. I am overwhelmed - just like I was by EH Chocolatier.
Loved all layers together and on their own. A great choice of flavors and layer thickness to ensure both chocolates and peanut reliably last to the end. The flavor trust brings forth textures from the dark snap, to the crunchy chewy peanut and praline, to the milky finish. Would definitely buy again.
